During this time she took part in post graduate training and examinations, to successfully graduate as a member of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) in 2006. After this invaluable experience, she then decided to branch into General Practice and was accepted onto the GP VTS training scheme Medway Kent and London to work in other specialty areas including 6 months Obstetrics and Gynaecology. After her GP Registrar training year in Higham Kent then in Walthamstow, she graduated to become a Member of the the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP), London in 2008. She has been working for the NHS as a General Practitioner in North London area ever since.
Specialist Interests : Dr Chavda obtained the Diploma of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare (DFSRH) in 2009 , then after further practical based training in family planning clinics, she obtained her Letters of Competence in Intrauterine Devices and Subdermal Contraceptive implant Insertion. Whilst working as Partner and GP Principal at The 157 Medical Practice, she set up her own family planning clinic providing coil and implant insertion and removal services for registered patients there. Her family planning clinic became so popular with excellent patient feedback, that Public Health Haringey commissioned her to provide the service , accepting referrals from for unregistered patient also in the north London area.

Dr Chavda has specialist interest also in Diabetes Management. As the Diabetes Lead in her current post, she plans to obtain a Diploma in Diabetes and will be starting this 12 month course run by iheed, University of Warwick beginning summer 2020. Dr Chavda is currently the Safeguarding Children and Adults lead in her NHS surgery. She leads patient diabetes education sessions for patients
Lisa is an enthusiastic and thorough doctor who practices patient centred consultation with an emphasis on patient education to improve health promotion and disease prevention. She takes part in annual clinical appraisals for revalidation. Dr Chavda keeps up to date by attending clinical update teaching sessions, attending courses and online courses, reading of NICE and faculty guidelines and MHRA alerts on regular basis. She is keen to always health care by carrying out audits to improve clinical standards and often brings her learning points from courses back to present to the team. Dr Lisa Chavda works as a GP for the NHS in North London.She graduated fromThe Royal Free and University College Medical School , London in 2002. Before the final year she did a BSc in Infections Diseases, graduation with a 2.1 with Honors .
After graduating from medical school Dr Chavda worked in various hospitals in London gaining experience as an Accident and Emergency doctor and a Senior House Officer in General Medical Rotation. The Medical Rotation involved 6 months working in each of the following specialities : Cardiology, Neurology, Nephrology, Rheumatology and Care of the Elderly medicine.
